Jamba Juice Secret Menu

JambJamba Juice is probably the most popular chain of smoothie restaurants in the country with over 700 locations in 30 different states. and headquartered in Emeryville, California It is definitely a leader and innovator in the smoothie market. But what you might not know if that there is a rather extensive secret menu featuring such off-the-wall creations such as "Berry Depressing" or "Fruity Pebbles" just to name a few. For the Fiscal Year ending on December 29, 2009 sales were $302 million, which included sales of $296 million from company locations.

You will not see this Jamba Juice Recipes posted in the stores, and when you ask an employee to see the menu you might be hard pressed to get a straight answer. On my last visit I was able to get an employee to admit to the "White Gummy Bear" and "Pink Star" as being popular picks, but said I'd have to go online to find the accumulation of secret menu names created over the years. She also delicately informed me, I needed to "know the flavors already" to officially request them in the store.

I was however able to learn that the secret menu contains discontinued flavors, flavors that didn't make the Jamba Juice grade for whatever reason, and employee created flavors that exist just for the fun of existing off the record. Some also use trademarked brands in their names that would not work on the traditional menu. My first personal experience with the secret menu was the "Starburst (AKA Pink Star) and I have to admit, as the name implies, it did taste very similar to a pink starburst candy.

Jamba Juice uses real fruit and processed fruit juices from concentrate.
